Fungo Bats

Fungo bats are specially designed to be used by baseball and softball coaches for practice purposes. Fungos are not designed to hit thrown or pitched balls, rather they are designed to hit balls tossed up in the air. Typical fungo bats are slimmer and longer than an average bat to allow coaches to repeatedly hit many balls during fielding practice with high accuracy.
